oh my goodness
WOW-- I didn't know that it had been so long--- I knew it had been a while though. I have so much that's happened since the. Nothing monumental- stuff I would have blogged about but haven't been able to.
Life has been passing me by lately. I don't know where it's going but I seem to be caught up in the hustle of it and not savoring the moments. And if you know any understanding of my recent realizations about life-- it's that it's about the moments. Catching them. Living them. and knowing that you can't redo them.
Ryan and I are good. We celebrated Christmas with his family and we are glad to be home.
He finished up his last fall semester of pre-reqs for pharmacy school and re-learning what it's like to study again- only this time while working 30 hours a week and having a wife. I personally think it would be harder if he didn't have a wife :) but I am bias.
Today, I spent 5 hours shopping for wedding dresses with my dear friend Lynde who's wedding I am going to be in this fall. I am so honored to be standing up for a dear friend that I met through my last job-- one of the few blessings that resulted from that job were two great friendships with peers. Erin and Lynde and I wouldn't be friends if I hadn't worked there. So for that I am thankful. (see God really does bring good from bad) Anyway. Lynde is marrying Brad who I was friends with in High school. It's a small world but they both come from great families and do a good job of balencing and complimenting one another. I am honored to be a part of their big day!
Big news with my family is that Ryan and Heidi (my brother and sister in law) are moving to Wisconson. It will be a good move for them. We are excited and happy for them. Sad that we won't see them as much and will miss out of the girls (my nieces). But I know this is the best thing for them and with Ryan (my hubby) and my schedule's we don't get to get to the other side of the state much anymore.
I am still working at the bank & thankful to have that job.
Ryan and I have made a rule in the new year to dedicate ourselves to working out and losing weight while focusing on just getting healthy in general. This last year we both put on weight through me being sick for so long and then losing my job and the stress that went with that. Our goal is to be realistic... but realize that healthy isn't easy. I am hoping to participate is some sort of race this fall and then be in complete shape for Lynde and Brad's wedding. I know I have to have something I am working toward.
Hmm- well if you have read this far I might as well share some pictures with you. :) Oh yea, and we bleached Ryan's hair-- so if it looks bleach blond it's cause it is :)
