A girl and chocolate

I know most of you who read my blog are female so you can relate to the love of Chocolate. No matter what day, or time - chocolate could be had and enjoyed. I would say this is just part of who we are-- how God made us. Well here is proof.

Yesterday we were with my side of the family to celebrate K first birthday. I can't believe it's been a year!!! Anyway, my mom made a whole seperae cake for K to "devour", "dismantle", "distroy". Here are some pictures to tell the story.


e was a great big sister and helped us celebrate. We all had party hats and were definatly being silly with them at one point. :)Here are one of the festive family:


We used the "family" cake (the white one seen above) to try and intise her to get in her chair.... it worked-- but then she wanted to devour that one. Candles were quickly blown out and the cake replaced with the "K cake". My mom thought it would be more fun to have the messy chocolate cake and man did K agree!!!


And most of all the best part was that she was enjoying celebrating with Chocolate and would just get this HUGE toothless grin on her face and start laughing. This was the best moment with the hands in the air-- clearly proclaiming-- this is great it's my birthday!!

Happy birthday girl! You are a treasure and a gift to all of us. WE LOVE YOU!!

Ryan, Heidi and the girls took off from there (after a bath to get this mess off) to go to their new home in Wisconson. We look forward to hopefully getting to on the fairy and go see them this summer.
