two posts in two days--- can this be?

Why yes it is. I told you I am better when I am busy. As I said this is the last weekend before "crazy picture weekends" take over. I can't wait!!!!

I just booked another wedding today for the end of July-- I know, the end of July is soon, but it's a super small (50 people) wedding. It's going to be on the beach in Holland... I can't wait for all the posibilities for great photos out there!! This couple, Abby and Jag, are super fun and are going to be awesome to shoot with!! CAN'T WAIT!

Tomorrow I have a photo shoot in the morning-- look for pictures in the afternoon (I know that will make 3 posts in 3 days! WOW)

Anyway, next weekend I am going to Rochester to see my family and meet E!! There will surely be photos that result from that trip.

A great weekend to relax and be!

We do have things going on this weekend (we are going to Ryan's cousins tomorrow & I have a photoshoot on Monday) but it's a long weekend.

I am also pretty pumped that after this weekend I will only have a few days til I get to see E & K and my newest favorite child Elizabeth Grace Darron!!! I can't wait to meet her! Congrats to my dear friends Chris (my roommate from college) and Justin on their newest blessing Elizabeth. I can't wait to meet her!!! Next weekend will be the kick off of a few months of weekend mayhem! And I am super pumped about it!! Weddings, random trips to see family, photo shoots.

I will be posting more in the next few weeks and be sure to watch my photo blog cause there will be SEVERAL exciting pictures coming up!

small groups, acoutability, work, life and more

I bet you all thought I forgot about you.... well I kinda did. I just got an email from a friend which reminded me that I have people who read this blog--- so I best post! :) (Thanks for reading and sticking with my ocasional absences).

Life has been busy. Last weekend I took some time for me and well-- it's catching up to me. Saturday I did some stuff around the house and it was nice to not have anything "planned"-- but as always I was not efficient at getting anything done cause I am definatly more efficient when I have a schedule. Sunday Ryan and I went to Leah and Jordon's house for our new small group. We loved it. We are excited to go back this week and it will be nice to have some friends who are walking along side us in faith and life, who challenge us, who keep us acountable. Both of us have friends... but having mutual friends who do this with us, along side us is priceless.

Other than that... I am in the process of printing 300 sheets of paper (wedding invitations for a girl I met last fall). It has taken far more time and energy than I expected, but the final product is turning out awesome! And all should be done according to schedule-- Saturday.

I am also working on a couple "guest book albums" for Jamie and Chris and Lynde and Brad. I think the more I know a couple the more the album reflects their personality and I love that. I will also soon be working on Jen and Aaron's wedding album- once I get their orders back.

What else...... Ryan's grandpa is doing better. We are enjoying the nicer weather. Life is good, but I should go to bed. Talk to you soon.

tulips, grandparents, important people and more....

That sure is a lot to tease you with in that title--- most of which I am not going to elaborate on tonight. :) Sorry, wnating to speend some time with my hubby.

Here are the much promised pictures from Holland last weekend.

I also a photo shoot early Saturday morning before we left for Indiana. It is a couple that I did a session with earlier- but they decided they wanted me to do a special album for them and we needed some more pics in order to do that. Check out their pics here ckphotography.blogspot.com They showed me this cute park and I found this GREAT red barn! I love that shot of Chris against the barn! Tons of great pics to work with for the album.

Ryans Grandfather is doing better than we were expected. They have moved him to the "hospital" part of a nursing home (they lived in their own home before- and Ryan's Grandmother will stay there). He was in pain, but for the most part he still had his sense of humor, which was encouraging to us! Ryan and I have both been so blessed to have all of our grandparents. Their wisdom & love is something we have grown to appreciate as we have gotten older, and will be hard to imagine life with out Grandpa--- BUT he's not there yet- so we keep praying and encouraging and trusting that his therepy and treatment there will be a blessing to us for a month or so more with Grandpa Kennedy.

Thinking about losing someone we love has made me think about life. Church this morning, did the same. I will expound more on this later- but answer this question... "I would be a different person without _____________ in my life". I can think of so many people-- I will blog more about my thoughts later-- but who has been that person in your life that keeps you going? Who models life and truth for you? Who shows you what love is no matter what?

may be taking a break--- but probably not

Life has been busy. I love that...
What I don't love is that I haven't planned well, so I find myself "scrabling". If you know me you know I am not a procrastinator-- but you also know I am not the most realistic when it comes to making goals for myself. I always seem to think that I can fit more in than I can-- and then end up stuck scrambling.

I probably won't take a break from blogging-- as I do enjoy it, but it might well be spuratic.

I would ask you to pray for Ryan's grandpa. He was in the hospital last week and was sent home last night cause they can't/won't do anything. His kidney's have failed and they have given him about 2-4 weeks to live. His insurance won't pay for dialasis, so he will wait for the end.

Ryan and I are going to try and get to Indiana this weekend (it just so happened this is like the only weekend Ryan doesn't work. ) We would just like to see him since we haven't since our wedding.

I will check in later. Oh and post pictures from out trip to holland last weekend.
